Shipping Policy

Shipping Rate

Ontario: $34.99 (Free shipping over $299.99)

Quebec: $39.99 (Free shipping over $299.99)

Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan: $49.99 (Free shipping over $349.99)

Alberta, Yukon, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island: $59.99 (Free shipping over $349.99)


Dry Goods Shipping Shipping costs for dry goods are calculated at checkout based on the total weight and dimensions of the order. Heavy & bulk shipping rates may apply to some items like salt, skimmers, rocks & aquariums.
Shipping Rules & Restrictions

Billing and Shipping addresses must match.

Orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkout. Kane Aquarium will not refund orders that were given an insufficient, inaccurate, or invalid address.

Kane Aquarium DOES NOT ship to P.O. Box addresses.

There are NO REFUNDS on shipping costs for any reason.

  • Processing Time: Orders may take up to 3 days to process after payments have been cleared.
  • Shipping Schedule: * Payments received Wednesday (noon EST or later), Thursday, and Friday will ship on the following Tuesday.Payments received Saturday and Sunday will begin shipping on the following Tuesday.
  • Order Sequence: Orders are processed in the order they are received. During peak periods, it may take a few additional days to reach your order.

Returns Policy

Applicable for Dry Goods only!

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at kaneaquarium@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:  Unit 9 - 1050 McNicoll Ave , Scarborough, ON M1W 2L8

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Warranty Policy

All products come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.

Delivery & Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing a safe and accurate shipping address. Please double-check the address in your order confirmation email. Kane Aquarium will not provide refunds for orders where FedEx determines there is no safe location to leave the package.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
  • Transit Risks: Kane Aquarium is not responsible for misplaced, lost, or stolen packages during transit. Under all circumstances, FedEx is the responsible party.
  • Shipping Delays: Kane Aquarium has no control over delays during the shipping process. For tracking updates or delay inquiries, please contact FedEx customer service.
  • Our Support: We will do our best to assist all customers in obtaining transit information or resolving issues regarding missing packages.
Claims Process
  • Review Period: All claims are reviewed case-by-case and may take up to 3 weeks to process.
  • Resolution: We must wait for FedEx to respond to a claim before taking further action. We appreciate your patience during this time.
  • Guarantees: Filing a claim does not guarantee that FedEx will partially or fully compensate you for a lost/stolen package.
Order Disputes

By purchasing, you agree not to initiate a chargeback for a completed order without first contacting us to resolve the issue directly.
